We’re happy to announce a new series of online workshops created for yoga practitioners at every stage of their journey. Each month we’ll meet for two late-morning sessions and dive deep into a single topic we’ve been refining in our own sādhanā—everything from the practice of Sūrya Namaskār to the quiet science of Prāṇāyāma. Our aim is simple: help you strengthen your personal practice and carry fresh insight back to your students or community.

For the sincere seeker, the dedicated practitioner, and the evolving teacher, true growth emerges from consistent, focused inquiry. It is with this understanding that we joyfully present our series of Monthly Online Workshops, designed to illuminate diverse facets of yogic science and practice.


Each workshop is a carefully curated immersion, offering profound guidance and practical knowledge on a specific theme. Whether you seek to refine your physical postures, understand the subtle energies of the body, or delve into the deeper philosophical underpinnings of yoga, these sessions are crafted to enable you to go beyond the superficial and truly deepen your sadhana. Join us from the comfort of your sacred space, as we gather virtually to explore and grow together.

  • Anyone with at least 4-6 months of consistent yoga asana practice: While a foundational understanding of yoga postures is beneficial for a richer experience, enthusiastic beginners with a sincere desire to learn are also warmly welcome.

  • Committed to Lifelong Learning: If you view yoga as an unending journey of exploration and self-improvement, these monthly thematic workshops offer a structured path for continuous growth.

What to Expect

Our online workshops are crafted to provide a rich and interactive learning experience:

  • Expert Guidance: Each session is led by experienced teachers from Bharat Yogavidya Kendra, committed to sharing authentic yogic wisdom.

  • In-depth Exploration: We delve deeply into each month's theme, combining practical application with theoretical understanding, drawing from the rich lineage of yogic traditions.

  • Live Interactive Sessions: All workshops are conducted live on Zoom, allowing for real-time interaction, questions, and personalized guidance.

  • No Recordings: To encourage full presence and participation in the live experience, recordings of these workshops will not be provided. This fosters a dedicated learning environment where you can truly immerse yourself.

  • Certificate of Participation: Upon successful completion of each workshop, you will receive a Certificate of Participation from Bharat Yogavidya Kendra, acknowledging your commitment to deeper learning.

  • Intimate Group Setting: We limit participation to 30 individuals per workshop to ensure personalized attention and a supportive learning atmosphere.

Preparation & Props: Should any specific props be beneficial for a particular workshop, details will be communicated via email to registered participants in advance.

Join us on the 3rd weekend of every month, with sessions running on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM IST. Each month unveils a new facet of yoga

June: Surya Namaskar Immersive

Dive Deep into the Sun Salutation: Explore the foundational practice of Surya Namaskar with renewed understanding. Go beyond the mere physical movements to uncover its energetic flow, alignment nuances, and spiritual significance. A comprehensive immersion to revitalize your daily practice.

September: Building Stability and Strength – Arms, Feet and Legs

Foundation of Form and Function: Explore how stability in the arms, feet, and legs forms the bedrock of a robust and balanced yoga practice. This workshop provides targeted techniques to enhance strength, flexibility, and alignment in these crucial areas, improving overall body awareness and preventing imbalances. Suitable for beginner, intermediate & advanced practitioners. Day 1 focuses on strengthening the arms through poses like Plank, Chaturanga, Downward Dog, and Cobra. Understanding key arm muscles and bones. Day 2 focuses on building strength and stability in the legs with poses like Warrior I & II, Chair, Tree, and Bridge. Understanding leg muscles and bones.

July: Science of Mudras

Unlock Subtle Energies: Delve into the profound world of Mudras, the powerful hand gestures and body locks that channel prana and influence consciousness. Learn their energetic principles, therapeutic benefits, and how to integrate them for deeper meditation and inner balance.

October: Science of Pranayama

Mastering the Breath of Life: Delve into the profound yogic science of Pranayama, the conscious regulation of prana (life force) through breath control. Learn various techniques to calm the nervous system, purify the energy channels, and expand your meditative capacity.

August: Go to the Core

Unveiling Your Inner Powerhouse: Discover the true essence of the "core" in yogic practice, extending beyond mere abdominal strength. This workshop illuminates the core as the energetic center of the body , focusing on stabilizing the spine and pelvis through static and dynamic activation. Enhance your posture, prevent injury, and cultivate deep-seated stability for all aspects of life. For intermediate & advanced practitioners. Learn about core anatomy, static and dynamic core activation, and its importance for fitness and injury prevention. Practice focuses on engaging key core muscles like rectus abdominis, obliques, transverse abdominis, multifidus, and erector spinae. Exploration of core stability (maintaining controlled posture) versus core strength (generating and resisting force).

November: Movement Magic – Sukshma and Sthula Vyayama

Dynamic Flow for Vitality: Discover the synergy between Sukshma Vyayama (subtle, joint-loosening movements) and Sthula Vyayama (gross, strengthening exercises). This workshop will guide you through dynamic sequences designed to enhance flexibility, circulation, and overall bodily vitality, preparing you for deeper asana and meditation.

  • What exactly is mantra chanting and how does it benefit me?
    Level 1, the Yoga Protocol Instructor course, lays the foundation in yoga practices and theories, focusing on basic postures, breathing techniques, and meditation to promote physical well-being. Level 2, the Yoga Wellness Instructor course, advances these teachings to cover physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellness through yoga. It builds upon Level 1's basics, deepening the understanding and practice of yoga to encompass a holistic approach to wellness, preparing participants for more specialized teaching roles and personal growth in their yoga journey.
  • Is prior yoga experience required for TTC Level 2?
    While prior yoga experience is indeed recommended, the Level 2 course welcomes students from various backgrounds. The program is meticulously designed to cater to a diverse range of yoga practitioners, ensuring that each participant receives personalized guidance. Instructors adeptly tailor their teaching methods to suit individual levels of expertise, thereby fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Will participants have the opportunity to meet Sri M?
    Meeting Sri M is a profound experience; however, such an opportunity cannot be guaranteed within the course framework. There may be special moments for initiation into Kriya Yoga and receiving blessings, contingent upon Sri M's availability and course schedules.
